TEKNETOOLBOX

TEKNETOOLBOX is a research project that studies the relationship between ruins, sacred places and technologies of the body and space.
It is a container that brings together a series of tools to establish a connection with what surrounds us. It also studies the cycles of collapse and regeneration and the transformation of space. So far it consists of six works in a performative language that interrelate with each other: Las Ruinas; Ciborgmística: electromagnetic waves; Cuerpo-espacio-lugar; OFRENDA; A dance for the e-spirits. A letter to the place. A chant for the living; TEMPLO. Research is a container of tools to relate the body to the environment that surrounds and crosses it. Originally the word techne referred to the act of knowing something from all its angles, to see beyond the visible in order to understand and embrace that something, to know that medium, that environment in order to establish a relationship with it. It implied a way of unravelling what is hidden through observation and contemplation at a deep level. This study and understanding allows this knowledge to be transformed into a third entity between the observed and the subject who acts as an intermediary, as a medium, who establishes a relationship with the observed.

This deep relationship involves all the cells of the body immersed in the act of establishing this relationship with what surrounds us, so deep that, in fact, the observer, the object and the medium become a whole. This unity is the point of departure and the point of arrival of my approach. A cyborg-mystic approach: Everything that is alive has a state of flux within it, and everything, even inert matter, is alive.​
