RUMOUR LAYERS
PILGRIMAGE IN HONOR OF THE DEAD
There was a manuscript that recorded the life of a peasant with inaccurate data. Then it was lost, and the fragments had to be pieced together from stories told by word of mouth. The saints were already saints before any legitimate power recognised them as such. Someone had told someone else about what they did: miracles. A miracle is something extraordinary.
A walk situated in the territory to reflect on how we talk about those who are no longer here, how we relate to our own finitude, the disappearance of our bodies and transcendence.
Like all pilgrimages we will offer food and a meal at the end of the walk.
The walk is guided by Malú Cayetano and Esther Rodríguez-Barbero with the intervention of Louis Ferment, Carlos Almela, Julio Jara, Luz and María. The route will start at the Collegiate Church of San Isidro and will end at the San Martín de Porres Shelter.
