MOVING WITH THE INSTITUTION

Workshop led by the choreographer, performer and architect Esther Rodríguez-Barbero, which will explore and play with the possibilities of space, movement, bodies and voices that are performed in an art centre when the protocols that are used to
are in suspension. Rethinking the the possibilities offered by the architecture of the centre and the processes of of setting up and dismantling its exhibitions, the artist will
will activate, together with the participants, a reflection in movement about the protocols, agents, timetables, types of behaviour and interactions that guide
and interactions that guide and direct the bodies that pass through these spaces.
The activity thus proposes a ‘dismantling’ of the daily life of the centre when it is not receiving visitors.The artist and the participants will design and
perform relations and corporeal-spatial presences that question the behaviour
that we carry out within an art centre, interacting and intervening also in the
materials and construction processes. The activity will thus generate alternative forms
and temporalities of inhabiting the institutional space, turning it into an experimental and playful place.
