INVOCATIONS

Invocations is a project about matter among matter, about presences, ghosts and other ethereal beings, about what is hidden in the holes in the walls. A series of conversations with the other, with what cannot be named, with the emptiness that is not empty. A ghost is a hole between two fragments of memory. A space that is filled with other information.

Invocations is made up of a series of encounters with different places and a methodology to make matter vibrate and establish a dialogue with subtle bodies, with the invisible.  The place, with its presences and the subtle memories hidden in it, is taken as a space of projection. There is a direct dialogue through a system of questions and answers. A series of questions asked to the place are the input for the invocations. It is in the spaces between particles that everything happens. Where the mysteries are created. Where does life come from? From the spaces between. In this microscopic space there are both possibilities. In nothingness, there is death and there is life.

Invocations is a research laboratory to establish a dialogue with what cannot be named, with what is subtle, to develop radars and sensors from the peripheral gaze that guide us and thus navigate in the emptiness that is not empty. A methodology to go out to meet the unknown and let ourselves be moved by it.
