GUIDED TOUR AT LEAL THEATER

Hello welcome to the Leal Theatre.
During this week I've been working in the theatre's chamber hall. I would come at 9 o'clock and leave at 6 o'clock or so. I didn't enter through this door but through another one at the back. So we are going to take a tour through the theatre to this door, which is the door used by the people who work here. I invite you to follow me on this tour.
During these days that I have been here, one of the things I have done was to look at the rules of use of this theatre. So I asked Montse, who is the stage manager, if there was any document with these regulations, and it turns out that there isn't. She is the one who sets the guidelines for what can and can't be done. So I'm going to play a bit of as Montse today. The first thing you need to know is that as the building is protected, you can't nail anything to the walls or do anything to alter the structure. So I'm going to ask you to go very close together to be as careful as possible.

We are going to walk down the hall, and I am going to tell you some of the do's and don'ts here. You can intervene if any of you have suddenly witnessed something relevant or have any information that can help me in this role.

Well, as you know before the remodeling of 2008 it was used as a social center and was a nerve center, and the dances that took place here were very famous, because the stalls that have a hydraulic floor could be raised and put at the same level and was used as a dance hall at carnival and New Year's Eve, but not now, because in the remodeling they put a plinth and it can no longer be raised.
