DANCE OR... (NOT)
At what point does a movement become a dance? When can you say that you are dancing? What happens when this happens in places where it is forbidden? How does it relate to the regulations and conventions of the use of space? Based on this practice, I propose to share some questions from the research around the project “We can dance”. To explore the moment before the dance starts, the zero moment when it begins, to see what happens when it takes place in spaces with different characteristics, spaces that are not for dancing, or in different situations. Based on this practice, examples of existing laws in different places that prohibit or have prohibited the act of dancing will also be shared in order to generate a space for reflection in which different personal experiences can be contrasted.
