Esther Rodriguez-Barbero and Clara Pampyn, with the collaboration of Laura Ramírez, propose the meeting El balanceo: how do we affect each other, or how do we do what we do, in order to understand together what this space is tinged with when we share it, what the space is like between us in this city.
"How do we do what we do? How can we do it together? Can we do it together? Do we want to do it together? Do we need to do it together? How does contagion work? What is our place in this network in Madrid? How is this network constituted?
and then:
What is the framework in which we would like to create? What universe would we want to build if everything were possible?
From the premise that to affect is to transform, we propose to build together a model of this ideal fictitious universe using some of the tools we have developed in our research process: the construction of an ecosystem with objects, the transformation of space, electronic music and the insistence on movement, on swaying. We will start from the basis of swaying to generate a state where we can be in relation to what surrounds us, and from there build this parallel universe made of objects, questions and desires.
We propose the construction of this parallel world by making use of what is implicit in generating a speculative fiction: to find cracks between which we can continue to do. Perhaps from there, in the encounter of fiction with reality, with matter, we can find an impulse from which to continue".
