BRUTAL - LA CALDERA
Esther R. Barbero, Lara Brown and Oscar Dasí have prepared a navigation chart* for a journey that will take us to explore bodily spaces and sensitive territories that are rarely explored. An exercise for appropriation and play where some of the practices and tools that have been carried out during the process of preparing Brutal will serve as milestones, buoys and lighthouses that will guide us on this adventure in which, with a bit of luck, we will get lost.
Because, as everyone knows, the important thing is the journey, not the destination. If anything, it is the place where you appear, or where you may appear, or where you will appear.
it will be wonderful to reach the sky with the rays coming out of our hands
it will be wonderful to reach mallorca in a sailboat and then come back
it will be wonderful to share this BRUTAL voyage with you
it will be wonderful to ride at the dreamscape and cross the isthmus of the maw driven by the toroidal breath and visit our farthest cells

it will be wonderful to sail with the bodies until we arrive who knows where, being others.
*A navigation chart is usually a map where a route plan is written down, using codes of signs linked to a territory. It describes the route and the trajectory, the places where we will pass or where we will stop. To do this, it uses a system of coordinates and other references, such as lighthouses or stars.
