ELECTROMAGNETIC ORGANS​

SerOcéano: órganos electromagnéticos is a nomadic laboratory that proposes to inhabit other corporealities and perceptions of reality. A space of expanded listening and attention that invites us to question ourselves about how we relate to our own (in)finitude. An invitation to take a journey into the unknown.

What is otherness, in what ways do we relate to it, what is it like to inhabit another corporeality? The project is in itself a container for a series of practices and methodologies on how we relate to otherness. A space to relate to an expanded body, constructing a joint world where infinite realities of the extraordinary can fit. It is materialised through the creation of podcasts and movement laboratories. Each podcast and each laboratory constitute a navigational chart for transiting otherness. These navigation charts will give an account of the obstacles, navigable waters, dangers, safety beacons, harbours, lighthouses necessary to move through that world, which is the world and reality of the other. These analogies will be used to construct sound and performance fictions. The proposal of the podcasts is to expand the corporal experience so that it overflows beyond borders. It proposes to the listener the immersion in this other reality, through a sound fiction that can be experienced by anyone, so that the listener can put him/herself in the skin of another, inhabit another body, inhabit another reality.​​​
